A party for the Gaijin thrown by the Japanese people who love them

MONDAY, MARCH 12, 2007
I have to admit that sometimes it's nice to be a gaijin in rural Japan. We have a strange celebrity status just for looking different.... or in my case, for speaking English. Case-in-point: we were recently invited to a gaijin party by Kazue Sensei, the art teacher at Takata High School. It was a little get together for the Sumita / Ofunato / Takata gaijin and the local Japanese gaijin-0-philes.

We ate, drank, and made merry, and the following drunken performance ensued...
happy?
