Dan and I took a short trip to Okinawa in mid-March. Okinawa is exactly like Hawaii - both are small tropical islands with beautiful weather that are overrun with Japanese people, military guys, and tourists like us... also, the Okinawans seem to have the same affinity for spam that the Hawaiians do.
